Features
The Image Owl QCC site processes MRI scans of the ADNI (EMR051) medical imaging phantom. Geometrical distortion and other scanner parameters are measured and stored in a 'study'. The site allows customers to:
- Visualize scanner distortion
- View and plot study data
- Maintain scanner history
- Download study and distortion data
- Organize data by scanner and protocol
Basic Usage
Users must upload data to the QCC servers for processing and storage. Before uploading data users create 'posts'. Posts are storage/processing targets for individual scans. Data is uploaded to a particular (user-created) post. After processing is completed the user can view the results. At least one post should be created before uploading data. New posts can be added at any time. There is no limit to the number or posts a user can create. More details on creating posts, uploading scans, and viewing and interpreting data are in dedicated sections in this wiki.
Protocols
T1 weighted protocols typically work well with the phantom and software. T2 weighted protocols do not work well. A scan should fully cover the phantom and slice thickness should be no greater than 1.5mm. A library of protocols, their usability, and recommendations is under development. Users are free to experiment with different protocols.
