Introduction
The Manage Test Settings link will open the Edit Test Default Settings page. From this page default settings may be changed. The list of items that allow a default setting is currently in progress and will grow over time.
Below is the list of navigational features on the Edit Test Default Settings page:
- Collapse or expand all sections by clicking the appropriate button.
- Search for a specific test.
- Expand or collapse a single section.
- Modify a heading or test description.
Change Test or Heading Descriptions
To change a heading or test description click the Modify link.
In the popup window change the description as needed using text, rich text, and images.
If desired, the description may be reverted back to the default description, which in some cases is blank. Use the Revert to default button to revert back to the default description.
View or Change Default Test Settings
Default meta-items and rows may be preset for a specific test. These settings may be overridden in schedule settings. Navigate to Manage - Test Settings, select the desired schedule, and click the Edit Test Settings button.
Once there, preset rows, meta-items, or the note.
View or Change Default Tolerances
When a default tolerance is set, the default tolerance will be used in cases where no specific tolerance is set for the schedule.
To set default tolerances navigate to Manage - Test Settings, select the desired schedule, and click the Edit Test Tolerances button.
The tolerance page for default tolerances is identical to the tolerance page under schedule settings. The tolerances are set are used for any instance of the test in a schedule where tolerances have not already been set.
