Applying Tolerances by Meta-Item

TotalQA® now allows you to identify tests with meta items where a tolerance based on the meta item should differ from the parent test. In many cases, this will allow more tests to be compacted into a single table and allow you to match your desired workflow.

When setting tolerances, each test will have an option to display available meta items where different tolerances may be set. If meta item tolerance is not applied, then the parent tolerance will apply to the entered value. For full details, see our help article at Create and Manage Baselines and Tolerances.
