Errors for Equipment Hub will appear on the lower right corner of the browser.
The error will only appear when trying to test the connection when creating or editing the measurement device under Manage Measurement Devices and is specific to Daily QA 3 devices using software 3.1 or greater (using MS SQL databases).
Below is a list of common fixes for the "Unable to connect to SQL Server (Login failed for user 'user_name'.)" error.

Ensure that the user name and password is correct. |

Ensure the user name format is correct for your domain. The username may need to include the domain name or be in the format of the user's email. |

If Windows domain security is being used, ensure that Integrated Security is set to yes. If SQL login is being used, ensure that Integrated Security is set to no. |

Verify the login has been provisioned by the database administrator. |
