Errors for Equipment Hub will appear on the lower right corner of the browser.
The error will only appear when trying to test the connection when creating or editing the measurement device under Manage Measurement Devices and is specific to Daily QA 3 devices using software below 3.1 (using Firebird databases).
Below is a list of common fixes for the "Unable to connect to database" error.
Ensure that the database path is correct. The default path is C:\SNC\QADatabase\SNC Databases\Sncdata.fdb. |
Ensure the user name and password are correct. The default username is SYSDBA and the password is either masterkey or omnipotent. |
Ensure that the database server name or IP address is correct. Use only the DNS name or IP address. Do not precede the name with '\\'. |
